The Constitutional Court rejects the lawsuit of an MP to annul his prison decision in “Helwan Incidents”

 

 

Cairo-The Supreme Constitutional Court rejected the lawsuit filed by the former Muslim Brotherhood MP Muhammadi Abdel Maksoud to suspend his conviction and 10 years prison sentence in the case known in the media as “Al-Shohada Square in Helwan”, which took place on 26 July 2013, in which the defendants were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 10 to 15 years.
